Before you pick up your motorhome, why not organise getting your campsites booked.  There are plenty in the UK and Europe and we absolutely recommend using www.pitchup.com to book your campsites.  We would also recommend becoming an member of the caravan and motorhome club if you are thinking of doing more than one trip in a motorhome although this is not essential.

The other option is Wild camping, heading out and parking up on approved areas or in the middle of nowhere is a huge buzz.  Well worth it if you are the adventurous type.

Once you’ve booked your campsites, make sure you have all their details so you have a heading, plot it into your sat nav and get going. Maybe ensure your sat nav is suitable for your motorhome, dont forget you’re much bigger than a car and a normal van so its worth checking those restrictions.

At campsites, you can usually chose between grass and hard standing pitches, these are usually gravel.  Make sure that if you are visiting a sandy site, that you dont dig yourself into a sandy hell.  It can be quite costly to get yourself dug or pulled out!

You can also chose to go electric or non electric, Luna Motorhome hire recommends going for electric to take advantage of being able to use the plugs within your motorhome.
