Campervan is quite a popular term when its comes to talking about a motorhome. In the UK, an RV or campervan is usually called motorhome.
There are actually two main differences between a campervan and a motorhome. A campervan is usually a van derived vehicle such as a Fiat Ducato which has been converted inside into a campervan. Some campervans don’t have washrooms and some do. All our campervans at Luna Motorhome Hire do have an onboard washroom and wc.
A motorhome usually has a fiberglass build on the chassis of a Fiat Ducato or Ford Transit as an example. These are generally bigger and can range from 5 metres long to 8 metres long. They range is sizes and configuration.
Before you arrive at the depot to pick up your motorhome, you will be sent videos on how to use a motorhome.
Then, when on site, you will receive a refresher course with one of our team.
Once you have booked your motorhome, its now time to plan your trip.

Plan your journey well, give yourself enough time and don’t forget that the purpose of travelling in a motorhome is to enjoy yourself, seeing places you wouldn’t normally get to see.
Wild camping in the UK is currently illegal. We do discourage wild camping and recommend that if you plan to wild camp, you get the land owners permission before pitching up anywhere.
