Using the Park4Night App While Travelling
When you’re out on the road in one of our motorhomes or campervans, the Park4Night app can be a real lifesaver. It helps you find places to stop overnight — from official aires to quiet park-ups in nature. We strongly recommend downloading it before you travel, give it some research and let it help with your plans during your travels.
Park4Night shows listings with user reviews and photos, which gives you a good idea of what to expect at each location. Some reviews can be a bit over the top, but most are genuinely helpful.
The real game-changer with the app is the ‘navigate’ button. Hit that, and it’ll take you straight there using Google Maps (or another nav app of your choice). No stress, no fiddling with postcodes or guessing where the entrance is. Especially handy when you’re tired, it’s getting dark, and you just want to park up and relax.
You can run Park4Night on your phone, or if your motorhome has an onboard system that supports it, use that — either way, it works brilliantly. And don’t worry about signal — if you’re heading to Spain or Portugal, mobile coverage is generally excellent.
Just a heads-up: while the app is brilliant, don’t rely on it 100%. We recommend having a proper road atlas as a backup — the Michelin 1:200,000 Motoring & Touring Atlas is a great shout. Your can find the Michelin Store on Amazon HERE. Apps are great, but they can’t always beat paper maps when you’re offline in the middle of nowhere.
Having used the APP a number of times during our own personal travels, we have found it extremely useful for pre planning where we want to stay knowing which road route we are choosing. We have also used it when picking up our Rollerteam Motorhomes from the Italy factory where they are made.
