- Pack all essentials needed – Just like you, your pet will need everything they have at home. Toys, bedding, food and any medication. Your pet (especially dogs) will be roaming much more than they are used to, being out in the open so its essential to make sure you have plenty of water accessible at all times. With our on board water tanks, there should be plenty of fresh water available for them.
- Don’t forget to plan stops – Motorway service stations are great places to stop but not always suitable for your dog to stretch their legs. Consider pulling off road every few hours to give them a break and maybe come off a motorway if you are travelling on it to give them a little extra running space.
- Remember to strap your dog in. Make sure you have a seatbelt harness to keep them safe. Also consider putting your pet into a crate to keep them safe and secure.

The UK is full of great places to stay with your pets. Plenty of campsites allow dogs on site. There are many beaches that allow dogs in the summer months but be sure to check which ones allow it so you are not fined. There are also many pubs that allow overnight stays and allow pets to sit in with you whilst you enjoy a few drinks and dinner. Worth checking out in advance as these tend to get booked up quite quickly.
